ABOUT US!
We began raising parrots in 1999. I had always loved birds and started by watching the local songbirds at a feeder. I was amazed to learn how intelligent they are as I began breeding and raising parrot species. Over the years, I have had and bred at least 17 species but as older birds passed away and I've gotten older, I've gradually narrowed my focus to just a few species. Parrots can live a long time so I have reluctantly squelched my desire to obtain species that would not only out-live me but my children! The species that I still raise will be shown when you scroll down!
I'm still learning but I enjoy passing on what I have already learned to new parrot owners. Buyers of my birds will have lifetime access (mine or my birds!) to my assistance with issues that may arise. I'm totally grateful to Dr. Paul Welch in Tulsa for his invaluable veterinary skills and his willingness to teach me countless tips in bird care over the years. As he openly shared with me, so I am also glad to share with you.
We have also dabbled in wild bird rehab for many years (Also with Dr. Welch's assistance!). An area will be dedicated to some basic important tips to know at the bottom of this page!

BABIES IN THE NURSERY Sales Tax (for Oklahoma residents only, 9.25%) will be added to all birds bought by Oklahoma residents. DNA Lab Fee ($25) will be added to all babies that have been sexed to cover the lab fee.

Aratinga Conures These
babies are hybrids which still make perfect pets but due to their
background, should never be bred and sold as a particular species
of conure. I'm selling them only as pets so as not to get them
introduced into the purebred lines. Plus, I can sell them cheaper
to people who want a pet bird but just cannot afford the higher prices
of purebreds! Because of this, I won't say what species are in
their background.
The Aratinga line includes Suns, Jendays, White-Eye, Nanday, Dusky-Headed, Mitred, and Gold Capped Conures. Babies will be sold as pets for a to be determined amount. More later. |
